Staying Healthy

Do you find yourself being consistent with your diet daily, no matter what?

Or are you one of those absolute organized people that Nothing will interrupt  your plan, NO matter what?

I know several folks like this.. and I admire you! ALOT!

Goodness, I can even do a planned travel , because of our business, and with as much planned menus, exercise, etc, I will by default, not always target it to perfection!

Even today, we came home from a wkend of business training, and we chose a scenic route to travel home, because we had the time, and wanted to celebrate the beauty of VA.

It was splendid, for sure!

At about 3 in the afternoon, we were cruising through a scenic small town, and a hole-in-the wall tiny ice cream stand announced on their flashing sign: "Homemade Ice-Cream"

Yes, we stopped! Breaks squealed..and we zipped in for fresh strawberries on top of the home made ice cream!

It was every bit as good as we expected!

We sat at their rustic picnic table, overlooking the river, and made small conversation, as we relished the dessert!

We never  discussed the harm in this calorie laden intake..

Nor did we repent (ha-ha)

Infact, we just smacked our lips, laughed, held hands, as we went back to our vehicle and traveled home ..

Inwardly I decided when we get home, I would walk that extra 10 minutes, and as I do, I will be in a place of gratitude!

Afterwards, I drank a cooled cup of detox tea.. and I know the extra sugar will all be taken care of!

 

And now, as I am writing this, something tells me, that there are many,many others who do the exact same thing we do!

Let's quit beating ourselves up for these treats!

Give yourself permission to celebrate yourself, promising yourself that you will NOT beat yourself up, and carry un-relentless guilt!

Instead, do what we all have learned makes life so radically fun!

A scoop of yummy is approved!
