Holidays are a time of extra indulgences, but for many of us it also means added stress of balancing finances, cooking assignments, and family relationships.
With all the hustle and bustle of the holidays it can be hard to find time to exercise. So, we’ve decided to motivate you to make the time! Here are some exercises to keep you healthy and help burn off a few extra calories.
It’s our spin on The Twelve Days of Christmas.
As you can see, it’s an accumulating circuit. Start on day one with a one mile walk or run, and add on a new exercise each day until you finish on day 12 by performing all 12 exercises.
1 mile walk or run
2 minute wall sit
3 sets of 10 crunches (30 crunches)
4 sets of 10 squats (40 squats)
5 burpees
6 spiderman push-ups
7 supermans
8 biceps curls (use weights, bands, cans of food, or anything else)
9 mountain climbers
10 chair dips
11 leg lowers
12 Russian twists
Good luck with the challenge! Take a look at the (festive) video if you’re wondering how to perform any of the exercises.
